Chain of Responsibility Audits
Under Chain of Responsibility (CoR), all parties who have control or influence over the transport task may be deemed legally responsible for complying with the Heavy Vehicle National Law. All parties have a duty to prevent breaches of mass, dimension, loading, vehicle maintenance and fatigue where they have been a party in a process.
Business operators may consider or take steps that may include installing systems, policies and procedures within a business that identify risks that relate to road safety and business operators may consider implementing or establishing controlled measures to prevent breaches from occurring.
Our auditors can review your systems, policies, procedures and work practices against a detailed audit tool. This process is aimed at assessing your level of compliance with CoR and WHS legislation for you to review.
At the conclusion of any audit, you will receive a detailed report, including recommendations for improvement to your business work practices and procedures. CoR Consulting can then assist you further if needed to achieve the required outcomes.
